Brownie and Payment Information


Our chocolate brownies are delivered with a full ingredients list including allergen information. Please contact us if you have queries regarding ingredients or allergens. Allergens including nuts, sesame, eggs, dairy, gluten and soya are all ingredients used in our kitchen premises. We therefore cannot guarantee that traces of these allergens can be excluded from our chocolate brownies. Our chocolate brownies are suitable for vegetarians, however not vegans.

Our regular range of brownies do not contain alcohol, but some flavours in our Christmas range do (available in November & December).

We regret that we do not offer gluten-free brownies as industry standards require separate production areas & equipment in order to label brownies ‘gluten-free’ which we do not offer at present.


The chocolate brownies will be at their eating best if refrigerated upon delivery, stored in an airtight container and consumed within the suggested best before date (usually 16 days from the day of dispatch). We enjoy them best straight out of the fridge – but you decide!

Message Card

You have an option of sending a short personal message with your chocolate brownies. Please note that we will reject any messages that we feel are defamatory, racist, offensive, abusive, indecent and obscene or in breach of confidence, copyright or other legal rights.


All online payments are taken Shopify secure payment gateway for secure credit/debit card transactions. We accept payments over the telephone during office hours. Please contact us on 01608 64 57 87. We cannot dispatch packages until payment has been received and funds cleared.


You may cancel your order at any time up until 11am on the day of dispatch. We can only accept cancellations by written medium (post or email). We regret that we cannot accept cancellations after the order has been dispatched as the chocolate brownies are classed as fresh food and are perishable items. Delayed orders cannot be cancelled.


If in the unlikely event that you have a complaint or problem with the ordered items, we must receive your complaint in writing and all packages must be returned to us by post within the best-before date of the chocolate brownies. Please send the package back by recorded delivery and keep your proof of postage. Return items to: Bluebasil, Chivel Farm, Heythrop, Oxfordshire OX7 5TR.

Gift Cards - Unavailable at this present time

All gift cards are to be redeemed within the UK only.

All email of gift cards is to UK addresses only.

All gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of sale. Gift cards not used within this time will be forfeited with no entitlement to refund or exchange.

Gift cards can be used as full or part payment on goods from Bluebasil Brownies.

Purchases made with gift cards are not refundable in cash.

Gift cards are not transferable, refundable in cash or replaced if lost, destroyed or stolen.

Gift cards can only be used for a single transaction; any remaining amount is not exchangeable for cash or another gift card and will be automatically forfeited.

The company reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.
